Thank you so much for visiting my Blog! Figured now’s a good time to share a few things about myself!

(1) I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Even though I loveeee Caribbean food, my family was born and raised here in America (we traced it all the way back to 1867 in Baltimore Maryland).

(2) I have a 9-5 job as an HR Generalist for an Airline (and sorry, I cannot get you a job or buddy passes).

(3) I am a Scorpio (to the core) born 11/19. Bonus: I’m 38 years old and will be 39 next month!

(4) I have zero kids, but a bunch of nieces and nephews that I absolutely adore.

(5) Educational Background: I went to Long Island University for a couple years (first major Computer Science, then Business Administration), then I eventually transferred to John Jay College and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Public Communication with a concentration in HR Management and a minor in Government.

(6) Siblings: I am the oldest of 11 children (1 set of twin brothers and my father is also a twin).

(7) Is the goal to become an Influencer full time? I love my current job and have no plans to leave it right now.

(8) Favorite place to visit: I love Aruba. My most memorable trip was probably Cuba.

(9) Favorite food: tough one but I love seafood and steak (ribeye medium to be exact).

(10) Favorite Influencer: KarenBritChick - Absolutely LOVE her! Most Inspiring Influencer: MonroeSteele - Monroe is the hardest working Influencer I know!

(11) Tips for growing your brand and becoming a Social Media Influencer: If you wouldn’t do it for free, this isn’t for you! Posting photos is about 20% of what this job entails. So much goes into creating content. If you’re looking for a guide definitely checkout my eBook: SimplyInfluencing The Beginners Guide To Influencing) which is currently on sale for $40.

(12) Is my hair natural or relaxed? My hair is relaxed. It was natural for about 5 years (2013-2017). I was my most happiest when it was short, so in December of 2017 I went back to my relaxed short cut. I did a video on my hair journey a couple of months ago.

(13) Any regrets: not regrets, more so lessons about not starting things sooner, but God’s timing is more important than mines. Turnoffs: cockiness, dishonesty, negativity (those that have a problem with every solution) and unmotivated people. Turnons: confidence, height (sorry, but I’m being honest), and versatility (if you can wear sweats on Monday, jeans on Tuesday and a suit on Wednesday and feel comfortable in all three!!! You’re definitely a winner in my book).

(14) Did you ever think of being a comedian? I was voted class clown one year in junior high and my Grandmother had an absolute fit! No one in my family really knew how silly I can be at times. I never had any dreams of becoming a comedian, I just love having fun and enjoying the humorous parts of life!

(15) I don’t have a favorite designer; I love so many (Ulla Johnson seems to be my favorite lately).

(16) Favorite store: hmm… H&M and Zara right now, & Other Stories and FarmRio later, it really varies because I honestly shop everywhere!

(17) What piece of clothing can you wear everyday? My Mom Jeans from American Eagle! I absolutely love those jeans and wore them so much over the summer.

(18) Highest time of my life - hmm… I’ve had some pretty high moments and right now I feel so blessed (my trip to Aruba in March was pretty amazing, seeing my growth with social media and my loved ones, learning to love myself, my 30th birthday with my family, family in general, my job… so many high moments of my life).

(19) Lowest moments of my life… losing my grandmother, my last breakup was pretty rough, having to get a second job in 2013 because I couldn’t afford to pay my bills, having to give up my car in 2013 really taught me humility.

(20) Current goals: to be organized and balanced. Sometimes, I’m going a million miles a minute and feel all over the place. I don’t have much help - so I have to do everything and sometimes, I just put everything down and rest all day because that’s important too. My schedule needs discipline because when no one is there to hold me accountable, I slack (which I’ve learned is okay too).

Bonus: Biggest Accomplishment during quarantine - definitely starting a YouTube Channel. That was something I wanted to do for a while and I’m so glad I did it!
